Andy Roddick, David Ferrer and Tomas Berdych are the final three names to have secured their entry to the season closing ATP World Tour finals at London’s O2 arena.
In order to keep his qualification hopes alive, Spaniard Fernando Verdasco had to reach the final of this week’s French event, but today was halted in his tracks as local hero Gael Monfils beat the Spaniard 6-7, 7-6, 7-5 in the third round of the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris.
“It’s certainly an accomplishment every year. I think it’s an honour to qualify once and then each time I think, kind of, you realise how tough it actually is,” Andy Roddick
