US Open: Serena Shocker: Can Anyone Break Into Big Four!

Friday, August 26th, 2011

Serena Williams is all the rage to win the US Open at 11/8 and is already a big five figure loser for Hills. Her nearest challenger is Kvitova at 5/1 with Sharapova 11/2 and Azarenka 9/1. “Serena has beaten almost all of the big names recently and our punters think she will be hard to beat,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

Hills offer 5/1 that the big four (Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, Murray) meet in the semi finals of the men’s tournament with standout player of the year Novak Djokovic the 5/4 favourite. Andy Murray is 5/1 to lift the trophy but 5/2 favourite to be knocked out in the semi final.

“The men’s tournament looks fairly open with the money split between the big four but everyone else is friendless,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

US Open - big four set to dominate, but not for long!

Monday, July 4th, 2011

William Hill are offering odds of 5/1 for all of the big four (Murray, Djokovic, Nadal, Federer) to reach the semi-finals at this year’s US Open at Flushing Meadows.

The quartet have dominated the sport for the last 12 months, however Hills don’t expect their dominance to continue - with the bookies offering odds of 1/3 that someone outside the quartet wins one of the next five Grand Slams and 9/4 they don’t.

Our odds suggest that the big four dominance will not continue into next year but we fully expect to see money for the 9/4 that between them they win the next five slams!” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

Men’s French Open Tournament Winner – Who will win the title?

Friday, June 3rd, 2011

For the first time in roughly six years Rafael Nadal, the World No.1 and five-time defending champion, is not the outright betting fave in tennis betting markets. Sportsbooks, across all platforms, seem to think that Novak Djokovic – the indisputable real time No.1 player this season – is the one to beat and the one most likely to win the 2011 French Open.
